Thank you Hugo Perez for all the things you did for this team. Although many people didn’t recognize it you did a lot to modernize this team and tried to make it competitive. You’ve had to dealt with so much during your tenure from the game against Canada in early 2022, to the FESFUT crisis, to dealing with the clubs and unfair and frankly idiot journalists. People have unfairly hated on you because you wanted to bring change and were bold enough to call out the things wrong with the soccer culture in El Salvador, something many few would have done. On a personal note, I am very grateful for you because of you I started this page and website. I still remember after the game against Honduras in El Salvador during World Cup Qualifiers I started all of this and it has changed my life for the better. Thank you again for everything Hugo, for giving us hope that we could make it to a world cup, for bringing from the stone ages not so long ago to the 21 century, and for all the joys you gave us. Although many people don’t realize it, you have been the best coach I have ever seen coach this team, and you will go down in the history for being the best El Salvador coach of all time. Thank you Hugo and Good luck in your future endeavors, you will always have our support!

Tuviste que lidiar con mucho durante tu era, como el partido contra Canada a comienzos de 2022, la crisis del FESFUT, a lidiar con los clubes y los periodistas injustos y idiotas. La gente te odiaba porque querías traer cambio y tuviste el valor para decir lo que esta malo con la selección y fútbol salvadoreño algo que muy pocos se atrevieran. Bien me acuerdo que después del partido contra Honduras en El Salvador durante la eliminatoria para el mundial yo comencé todo esto y ha cambiado mi vida para lo mejor. Gracias por todo Hugo, y por darnos la esperanza que podíamos llegar a un mundial, por sacarnos de la era de piedra a la era moderna, y por todas las alegrías que nos diste.
